Seam Grip WP Waterproof Sealant & Adhesive (28g)
Gear Aid Seam Grip WP is a waterproof urethane seam sealant and repair adhesive for polyurethane-coated outdoor fabrics — the correct choice for standard nylon tents, canvas tarps, awnings, vinyl, and polyester gear. One 28g tube seals up to 3.66 metres of seams, cures to a clear, flexible rubber bond, and doubles as a repair adhesive for holes, tears, and fabric failures across a wide range of outdoor equipment.
- Urethane formula for PU-coated fabrics — Seam Grip WP is specifically formulated for polyurethane-coated fabrics including standard nylon tents, canvas, vinyl, and polyester; it bonds permanently to PU-coated surfaces where silicone-based sealants will not adhere effectively.
- Seals up to 3.66 metres per 28g tube — sufficient for sealing the key seams on most standard tents, tarps, awnings, and camping shelters; also available as a 7g two-pack for smaller repair jobs.
- Waterproof and permanent — provides a water-tight seal that resists peeling and cracking over time; maintains its integrity through sustained rain, UV exposure, and temperature variation.
- Cures to a flexible rubber seal — the cured sealant stretches and moves with the fabric rather than cracking under tension; essential for shelters that are pitched, packed, and repitched across a season.

Important: Seam Grip WP is designed for polyurethane-coated fabrics. For silicone-treated (silnylon) tents, tarps, and ultralight packs, use Seam Grip SIL — silicone coatings will only bond to silicone-based sealants.
