The Black Diamond RockLock Screwgate Carabiner is a dependable locking HMS carabiner built for belaying, rappelling, and anchor use. As Black Diamond’s largest belay and rappel locker, it offers a generous shape for easier handling, a large rope-bearing surface for added durability, and compatibility with a Munter Hitch or belay device. The hot-forged construction helps keep weight down while maintaining strength, and the redesigned spine improves handling in use. A screwgate sleeve provides secure manual locking, while the keylock nose helps prevent snagging when clipping and unclipping. With one-hand operation and a square hinge end that helps hold the belay loop in place, it is a practical, hard-wearing choice for regular climbing use.
