G-WAX

Grangers G-WAX is the original leather boot wax — a traditional beeswax-based treatment that has been part of the Grangers range longer than any other product. Applied to clean, dry full-grain leather, it nourishes the leather from within, restores water-repellency, and protects against the cracking and drying that shortens the life of even the best boots.

• Natural beeswax formulation — the beeswax base penetrates and nourishes full-grain leather rather than simply coating the surface, keeping the leather supple and preventing the drying and cracking that comes with repeated wet and dry cycles on trail.
• Protects against water, stains, and oils — builds a durable protective layer that resists moisture ingress and repels surface staining, extending the useful life of leather footwear.
• Durable protection with multiple thin coats — apply 2–3 thin coats to clean, dry leather, allowing the boot to dry between applications; the leather will visibly accept the wax, particularly if it has been neglected for a period.
• Treats seams and joints — ensure all stitching and seams are treated; this is where leather boots most commonly crack and fail, and regular waxing significantly extends their life at these stress points.
• Maintains breathability — unlike heavy waxes that over-seal the leather, G-WAX is formulated to nourish without blocking the leather's natural breathability.
• Suitable for full-grain leather and leather accessories — ideal for full-grain leather hiking boots, walking boots, and leather accessories that benefit from wax treatment.
• Bluesign® approved and PFC-free — a responsible, traditional formulation in an 80g tin.

Important: G-WAX is designed for smooth full-grain leather. It is not suitable for suede or nubuck, as it will darken and flatten the nap. For suede and nubuck footwear, use Grangers Footwear Repel Plus instead.
